In 2004, The Gas Station Theatre was sold and scheduled to become a Giant Tiger Store. Numerous members of the arts community joined forces and formed the group "High Octane" to reverse the sale, this group included local dancer, Jolene Bailie. Immediately after the sale was reversed the fundraiser, "Girls! Girls! Girls!" was founded to raise critical and immediate funds. Now in it's 11th year, Jolene Bailie has performed the opening act in this cabaret since it's inception. This event features many wonderful local artists from a variety of genres, all coming together to raise money for our beloved theatre, The Gas Station Arts Centre.
