A Soldier's Tale

3PM Sunday, February 8, 2015
Royal Canadian Artillery Museum, CFB Shilo

A Co-production with the Royal Canadian Artillery museum at CFB Shilo, this concert  includes a tour of the RCA's award-winning exhibits, including a WWI Centennial Retrospect.

Stravinsky's timeless folk tale is brought to life in a co-production with the RCA Museum at CFB Shilo.  A SOLDIER'S TALE is based on a Russian folk tale and recounts the realities that a soldier faces when he deals with the Devil (played by Karen Chrest) and trades his fiddle for limitless amounts of money.
This is the BCP's biggest production to date, and involves a septet of talented musicians, three actors and a dancing princess.

A limited number of shuttle bus seats are available for those who would not otherwise be able to attend.  Please call the BU School of Music Office at (204) 727-9631 to reserve your seat.
