About the Workshop:
The Feldenkrais Method workshop is designed for any Actor, Dancer, or Individual interested in developing a greater awareness of the fundamental mechanisms involved in the expressive body. Through selected Feldenkrais movement sequences participants will become more aware of habitual neuromuscular patterns and rigidities that may inhibit expression and discover new ways of experiencing the body to include more of yourself in your movement.

Day One will consist of 'quieter' lessons that will include themes of breathing, small movements, and some special attention to the face, jaw, head & neck. These lessons often evoke a sense of deep, internal calm.

Day Two will include lessons that ask for much more movement, not only of yourself and 'all of your 'parts'" connecting to each other as a unity and also as a connected wholeness of yourself in the world.

Gisèle St. Hilaire has been Guild Certified Feldendrais practitioner since 2001 and is the owner and operator of Sunyata Movement Studio in Winnipeg.
